The Darlins is a blend of captivating lead vocals, thought-provoking lyrics, swampy country guitar licks, and bluegrass infused mandolin and compelling mountain harmonies. The duo is driven by an approach to songwriting that is true to their own life stories, honest, and simply unique. Their influences range from traditional country singers like Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn and they take much of their inspiration musically from American roots music. Jude Toy is the founder of this dynamic duo and a Portland, Oregon native. Erinn Bates was born and raised in Nashville, TN. Together they have traveled and performed across the USA and are looking forward to performing at The United States Armed Forces Country Music Festival, CMA Fest, Florabama, and more this year. In 2013, The Darlins were the national battle of the bands winner of the 2nd Hourly Gig sponsored by job search engine, Snagajob, and won the spot to open for country star duo, Montgomery Gentry. Their songs that they have written together have also been featured on The Sportsman’s Channel and ABC. In the fall of 2015, The Darlins will join Trace Adkins, Joe Nichols, Craig Morgan, and more on the Country Cruise to the Bahamas. Their EP "Crush" will be released in 2015.
